Deezil model engine

The picture is about life-size. This is, of course, a model engine. I spotted it at a flea-market and just thought it looked wonderfully old. I have played with model engines way back, but never saw one just like this one, so I asked the seller for the price. "Well, you can give me 20", he said. Thats 20 Danish Kroner, appr 3$. Needless to say, I took it. Then I did a bit of research: This is an American make, it was produced and sold in 1948 and -49, then as it gained a reputation of not being able to run, it was discontinued. As a result they are quite rare to-day (especially in Denmark). At E-bay, they go for 40-50$. This one does not seem to have ever run, but I'm gonna try and make it.
